Girls Rock! HONEY and Brescia launch myBrescia.com a new recruitment micro-site

The myBrescia.com launch was announced today at a press conference in St. Thomas. The press conference featured a unique public speaking competition open to female students in grades 11 and 12 called, “Take the Lead”. The first-prize winner will receive full tuition for her first year at Brescia. The microsite’s launch was perfectly timed to support ongoing engagement of the high school demographic.

MyBrescia.com is primarily targeted at the new student population, 17-20 year old women who will be considering post-secondary education in the next year. Research has shown that the majority of applicants are 18 years old and live in smaller Southwestern Ontario cities. HONEY facilitated two focus groups, one on campus at Brescia, the other at a local secondary school, in order to connect with the target audience, speak their language and address their interests.

HONEY conceived the microsite concept, designed the site, provided copywriting and editing for stylistic tone and Search Engine Optimization specifically for marketing to youth. The look and feel is vibrant, casual and modern and will continue to evolve with plans for user-generated content to encourage authentic dialogue with new applicants and potential new students.
