Honey collects heavy hardware at the virtuoso awards gala
Recognized for works in publication design, graphic design, employee/member communication and interactive media design
The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), London Chapter celebrated excellence in Communications Management, Skills and Creative at the 2008 Virtuoso Awards Gala.
HONEY collected six awards in total.
HONEY accepted awards across all categories, including an award of excellence in the publications category, for the St. Joseph’s Health Care, London project, Sister - The History of the Sisters of St. Joseph of London. By celebrating the legacy of care of the Sisters of St. Joseph with the creation of a book, we aimed to pay tribute to the Sisters as founders of St. Joseph’s Health Care, while also raising the profile of St. Joseph’s as London’s Catholic hospital with a unique brand of care.
“The opportunity to have our client’s projects recognized is important at HONEY,” said Robin Honey, president and creative director, Honey Design Marketing and Communications. “The IABC awards are judged based on criteria for best practices in communications strategy and execution. We believe in delivering national and international quality communications management, graphic design and website design and programming. Awards like these simply reinforce that belief.”
Other projects recognized by the association included: 1 Access RMHC – the launch of a coordinated access procedure for accessing tertiary mental health services and care; Algoma U where it rocks – a recruitment brand identity for the northern university; a new brand identity for Ivers Lee, a company recently acquired by local packaging leader, Jones Packaging; Custom Cuisine’s re-branded website, designed and programmed by HONEY; a new firm brochure for McKenzie Lake Lawyers; and the Procuro Partners logo design that launched this new company with class and confidence.
