London Health Sciences Selects HONEY

The Hive had reason to celebrate this holiday season when London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) and London Health Sciences Foundation (LHSF) announced they had selected HONEY after issuing an RFP for the hospital’s annual reports and annual general meeting materials for the next two years.

The competitive selection process included a proposal, interview and reference checks. HONEY created a themed presentation, detailing the creative approach and process, project management techniques, brand and design excellence and prudent budgeting, that all contribute to the success of such a big project.

“We are delighted that the LHSC and LHSF selection committee chose HONEY as their new creative partner,” said Robin Honey, President, Honey Design, Marketing and Communications. “The LHSC and LHSF communications team is a talented group of individuals and we are looking forward to collaborating with them to tell the hospital’s many great stories. We are both first-class London organizations that excel in our respective fields on the national and international level.”

In the proposal, HONEY demonstrated past successes in health care communications design with provincial, national and regional client organizations such as Ontario Telemedicine Network (OTN), The Regional Cancer Service Alliance (RCSA), St. Joseph’s Health Care and an animated case study, describing a large project with the Toronto Region Research Alliance.

“As a full-service firm, HONEY offers the creative talent and communications expertise that makes us a valuable asset to our client’s in achieving their goals and demonstrating measurable results,” Robin continued. “Health care has become an area specialty for HONEY and we offer unparalleled expertise in strategic, creative communications – from concept and creative direction to graphic design, writing, editing and web-specific design and programming.”

The first project is set to begin in January 2008 and will be completed in time for the annual general meeting later this year.
